Dimitrija "Dime" Nikodinoski (8 November 1924 Rechani-ChelopechkoKichevo - 18 July 2003 Rechani-ChelopechkoKichevo) was a Macedonian fighter and a partisan who took part in World War 2 he was part of the "First Macedonian-Kosovar brigade" which fought for freedom of Маcedonia from the Bulgarian and Italian fascist and oppressive forces.

Life

He is born on the 8-th of November 1924 in the village Rechani,Kichevo in that time it was " The Kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovenes" in the occupied Vardar part of Macedonia. He was born as Dimitrija Stojcheski Nikodinoski , his father was Simeon "Sinadin" Stojcheski (1902 Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo- 1974 Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo), his mother was Vasilka Stojcheska (14 january 1885 Orlanci,Kichevo- 1980 Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo), he had two sisters Natalija "Nata" (1921 Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo- 1990) and Ilinka (1927 Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo- 1995). Dime from a young age was showing love for the fatherland Macedonia he had a strong Mаcedonian identity. Dime finished four year school in Svetorache and he was showing huge potential. The love for the fatherland became even bigger when during the occupation of the Bulgarian and Italian fascist and oppressive forces, Dime found a radio which the soldiers lost, his mother Vasilka told about the found radio, when the Italian soldiers found out they took Dime to ask him questions, they suspected that he was a Partisan even though the innocent Dime did nothing bad but the Italian soldiers beat him badly, in that moment the love for the fatherland became even bigger and the wish for free and United Macedonia grew. Dime couldn't endure the tortures and robberies by the Bulgarian fascist aggressors and he decided to go to Bitola to work as a cleaner of the bed of the river, when he went to Bitola the Bulgarian soldiers planned to kill him and to push him in the Black River, but luckily Dime found out and he escaped to his village, but they started looking for him and he escaped and joined the partisans in 1942, after some time he joined the "First Macedonian-Kosovar brigade" , he participated in the front in Qafasan,he participated in fronts in the west and central parts of Macedonia and the occupied parts of Macedonia in Albania and Serbia, he participated in the
Syrmian Front and most importantly he participated in the liberation of Kichevo. When the war finished he was happy because Macedonia was freed from the Bulgarian and Italian fascist and oppressive forces but he was not satisfied because of Јosip Broz Tito who prevented the campaign to liberate Solun and unification of AegeanPirin and Vardar Macedonia that was the biggest wish of Dime. When he came back to Rechani for his heroism, the country gave him several fields. After the war he was employed in "Udba" as a secret agent and in the Assembly of Yugoslavia from 1946 to 1950, but in 1950 he was fired and he was sent to "Goli Otok" by Тito because he told him that he should have bowed to Stalin , he said this out of frustration that Tito did not want
Маcedonia to unite with it's occupied territories in GreeceBulgaria and in Albania but also that he was a huge admirer of Russia and Stalin, they even suspected that he was a Russian spy, Dime came out of "Goli Otok" after one year. When he came back to Rechani he immediately got married to Мirjana "Mirka" Treneska (27 October 1924 Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo- 18 April 2015 Kichevo), after he got married he got employed in Belgrade in a factory. After one year his first child is born, Miko (13 November 1951 Rechani-Chelopechko,Кichevo- 30 December 2019 Кichevo
),after his daughter is born, Leposava "Lepa" (17 September 1953
Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo- ), and lastly his son is born, Dragoljub "Drage" (24 june 1955 Rechani-Chelopechko,Кichevo- 24 December Кichevo),after four years he has an accident with a bomb as a result of which he loses his right arm, and he spends the next four years in a hospital in Bitola where he is being treated. After he returned from Bitola he got a job as a warehouse keeper, after a few years he retired and took a pension for the fighters, then he started farming and raising livestock. In 1976 he is visited by the son of Spiro ( Spiro was the uncle of Sinadin), Ljube(1905 Rechani-ChelopechkoKichevo-1976 Svetorache) who worked in Plovdiv,Bulgaria he was not in good health, so he wanted to spend his last days in his homeland, he died after three months in the village Svetorache while visiting his sister, he was buried in Rechani. In 1985 on the occasion commemorating fourty years since the liberation from the occupation of the fascists, he was awarded a diploma, medal and a book. He spends the following years doing agriculture and animal husbandry as a job. In 2001, when there were conflicts with the Albanian population his children barely prevented him from joining the war even though he was 77 years old he still wanted to fight for Маcedonia. On the 18th of July 2003 he dies from health complications he dies in RechaniКichevo.

Family history

This family goes back to Nedelko Stojcheski who is supposed to have been born around 1810 in the village of Rechani-Chelopechko,Kichevo, it is assumed that Nedelko's father came to Rechani from the village of Кladnik,Кichevo
around the end of the XVIII century. When Nedelko's father moved to the village of
Rechani-Chelopechko, at that time the village was a Turkish homestead .Nedelko had a son Stojche around 1840,Nedelko also had daughters Мitana and Коstadinka, Nedelko was engaged in agriculture and livestock farming, he had sheep. Nedelko is assumed to have died around Rechani. Stojche just like hi father Nedelko he was engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry, he had two sons Spiro who was born around 1865 and Nikodin who was born around 1870 in Rechani, he also had two daughters Kala and Budumka. It is assumed that Stojche died around 1900 in Rechani. Spiro first started to engage in agriculture and animal husbandry but started to get into bad waters, he became a Bulgarophile even though everyone in the family had a strong Mаcedonian identity from Nedelko and before Nedelko. Spiro was appointed as a Bulgarian serf and spy in the region along the Rabetino river, Spiro was considered a traitor because he fought against the Macedonians , The village of Rechani and the surrounding villages were burned by the Turkish soldiers after the defeat of the Macedonian comites in 1907. Spiro married twice and had seven children, Меtodija,Stojmir and Коstadinka from the first wife, and Ljubomir,Ruzha,Ivanka and Dola from the second wife. Spiro around 1930 in Rechani. Nikodin unlike his brother, he had a strong
Macedonian identity, he was engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. Nikodin had one son Simeon "Sinadin" who was born around 1902 in Rechani. Nikodin's life ended tragically around 1906, he was grazing his sheep as always, but the Chetniks (Macedonian Serbomans) came out of nowhere they were supposed to kill Spiro the brother of Nikodin, but the Chetniks mistook Nikodin for Spiro and shot Nikodin. After Nikodin's death, Spiro kicked out Blagunja , Nikodin's wife and told her to remarry someone else, and Sinadin was taken by Тrajche the son of Budimka from the neighboring village of Кrushica, Sinadin was about 5 years old. Sinadin together with Тrajche went to work in Romania
, Sinadin first started selling newspapers on the streets, then he worked various jobs to earn something. After a long time ,Sinadin went to
Belgrade to work for a family member, after a few years he returned to Macedonia when he was 18 years old he immediately decided to get married and married Vasilka from the neighboring village of Оrlanci who was almost twice his age, but she was a housewife, a hardworking and honest woman. When Sinadin returned, Spiro gave him some sheep and part of an inheritance that Dime would later buy from Spiro. Sinadin's first child Natalija, was born in 1921, after a few years in 1924 his son Dimitrija was born, and his last daughter Ilinka was born in 1927. In the following years, Sinadin began to drink alcohol excessively and became a drunkard, when Dime was about 10 years old, Sinadin went to Belgrade to work for a family member as a bread seller, he spent everything he earned there on alcohol and women. Sinadin returned when his grandson Drage was born in 1955. Sinadin continued drinking until his death in 1974 in Rechani, and in 1980 his wife Vasilka died in Rechani.
